PR Photographer
PR Photographer Sheffield, South Yorkshire.
I launched my freelance career as News and PR Photographer twenty years ago and began learning my trade as a staff news photographer for several local newspapers. Since then my photography assignments have taken to many places. I have been to Iraq, Belgium, Gibraltar and Cyprus with the British Army. I’ve Photographed celebrities, politicians and Royals who have been considered famous, very famous and not so famous at photo-calls, shows and concerts across the country. I have supplied pictures for advertising to the U.S. from work undertaken here in the UK.
I have provided images to a number of UK-based agencies and picture libraries. Many of those images have appeared in local and national publications around the world. When I am not shooting commissioned public relations or news photographs I work on personal projects for my own on-line picture archive library. My commissioned news & PR photography has been shot for wide range of well-known brands and publications directly and via PR providers. These Include Balfour Beatty, Virgin Media, Royal Bank of Scotland, The Bank of Scotland, Lloyds TSB, The BBC, The Co-operative Group, Public and Commercial Services Union (PCS), Avant Homes, W.H. Smiths, Asda, The Financial Times, The Independent, The Daily Telegraph, Motorcycle News. I maintain excellent links with the all my local picture desks and I’m regularly employed by a variety of Public Relations companies, in-house PR departments and other publications.

I am based close to Junction 35 of the M1 Motorway Within 2 miles of Sheffield Arena, Meadowhall shopping centre, Ice Sheffield and The English Institute of Sport. Virtually on the border of Sheffield, Rotherham and Barnsley, I have quick and easy with access to all the major arterial routes of South Yorkshire and I’m easily able to cover jobs the length and breadth of the country.
